David Ahl

As a member of the Arizona State Bar, Attorney David Ahl is licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona. Ahl did not begin his legal career in this state though. In fact, he originally was more focused on humanitarian work than legal work. He received his bachelor's degree in Spanish and taught English to local residents in Guadalajara, Mexico. He then spent a summer working with Spanish-speaking immigrants and refugees from all over the world.
These humanitarian experiences helped Ahl develop a passion for helping people from different cultures. This passion led to a desire to engage in legal work to help make a difference. He attended the University of South Dakota School of Law and earned his law degree. During his early years in the legal field, Attorney Ahl worked at the Blue Earth County Attorney's Office in Minnesota. This early experience proved to influence him towards the criminal defense side of his practice. He then joined the organization the Innocence Project. As a member, Ahl worked to exonerate inmates who had been wrongfully convicted of various crimes. He then got a job at a Scottsdale law firm where he practiced family and criminal law.
David Ahl's experiences revealed his passion for criminal defense. He has now joined Suzuki Law Offices working to defend Arizona residents who have been charged with a DUI. As a part of this firm, Ahl is now able to concentrate on this main area of interest. He brings his Spanish-speaking skills and compassion for the wrongfully accused to the Suzuki team. David Ahl's passion, empathy, and diverse experiences all make him a valuable new addition to the team. |
