Phoenix Third DUI Offense Attorney
Fighting Your Aggravated Drunk Driving Charges
If you are being charged with driving under the influence, and you have been convicted of DUI twice before, you are facing a long, uphill battle. DUI is charged very harshly in Arizona, as it is in all states, and while first time offenders sometimes can avoid jail altogether, that is not possible for a third offense, unless your case is dismissed or you are acquitted. If at all possible, your Phoenix DUI defense lawyer should use every bit of knowledge and skill that he possesses in order to keep you out of prison. At the Suzuki Law Offices, we believe that all of our clients are innocent until proven guilty, and that they are entitled to a defense attorney who will not only research every aspect of their case and aggressively represent them in court, but also will guide them throughout the entire process.
Third Offense DUI Penalties
- Jail: Minimum 4 months, without possibility of parole, suspension of sentence, or probation
- License Suspension: 1 Year
- Court-Ordered Ignition Interlock Device

If your third DUI occurred within 7 years, the third arrest will be charged as aggravated, meaning that it is a felony charge and you will almost certainly be sentenced to at least one year and up to 3.75 years in prison, have to pay thousands of dollars in fines, as much as $150,000, your license will be suspended for 3 years, and your vehicle may be subject to forfeiture. A defense attorney at our office can give you more information on the penalties you are facing during an initial consultation.
